Canonical Charts
The single source of truth for which chart Tempora uses when an article references a national, market or party founding chart. Different practitioners use different conventions for the same nation; this page declares Tempora's choice for each one, computed under True Pushya Paksha ayanamsa.

On 2026-05-05, two post-mortems (Bengal 2026 and Eclipse-Nifty 035) each surfaced quantitative claims that did not match the canonical natal stack. Two different India 1947 charts were in active use across the corpus with no declared canonical. This document closes that gap and prevents the drift class from recurring.
India

The canonical Tempora India chart is the 00:00 IST stroke-of-Independence chart, Taurus rising under any standard sidereal ayanamsa. The Leo-rising noon variant is retained as an alternate for articles that originally used it. All forward-call analyses depending on the India chart use the Taurus-lagna canonical.

The Sibly chart is the most widely used convention in mundane astrology. Sagittarius rising under any major sidereal ayanamsa. Some practitioners use a 2:13 AM Gemini-lagna variant; Tempora does not.

The canonical Tempora Russia chart is the 12 June 1991 Sovereignty Declaration. This is the chart against which every Tempora Russia calibrated lift figure was computed by the calibration engine. Mundane astrology purists prefer the 25 December 1991 Federation chart because it is the legal-constitutional successor entity; Tempora's calibration data backs the 12 June 1991 chart. Brand discipline: calibrated beats academically-pure.

Both party charts use the noon convention because the formal founding hour is not publicly documented. Lagna-dependent findings are flagged as tentative in any analysis using these charts.

These seven country charts were promoted from uncalibrated tier to calibrated tier on 2026-05-10. Each carries a published lift table in the master calibration ledger. Event sets are listed in the calibration event registry.

Saudi 1932's natal time carries a documented plus-or-minus 4 hour band; calibration relies on slow-mover sign placements robust across the band, not on lagna or house attributions which are time-sensitive.

How to use this page
For new articles. If your analysis depends on a chart listed here, use the canonical file in the canonical natal registry. If you use a non-canonical variant for a specific reason, declare it in the article body, store the variant as a separate <slug>_<variant> then link to this page explaining why. Run the verification through the forward-call diagnostic so the chart actually reproduces what the article says it shows.
For existing articles. Articles that used a non-canonical chart get either a Section 2 reconciliation if the analysis still holds under the canonical chart, or a re-run against the canonical chart with the article body updated.
Under what ayanamsa. All positions above are computed under True Pushya Paksha (P. V. R. Narasimha Rao's ayanamsa) via Swiss Ephemeris mode 29, with Whole Sign houses. See Lahiri vs True Pushya Paksha for the ayanamsa choice.
