Kaal is an AI-powered chart analysis service operated by Tempora Research. It uses Vedic astronomical data — birth chart positions, dasha periods, and planetary transits — as a structural framework to identify timing patterns and convergences.
Kaal maps structural conditions. It does not predict outcomes. All output from Kaal describes tendencies, historical correlations, and timing patterns derived from your birth data. Nothing Kaal produces constitutes a guarantee, forecast, or certainty about future events.

Kaal is designed to decline certain categories of questions and will respond with a standard message instead of engaging with the content. These include:
These limits exist because chart analysis cannot and should not be used as a basis for decisions in these domains. If you encounter a question that Kaal declines, this is by design.
Chart analysis depends on the accuracy of birth data you provide — date, time, and place of birth. Even small errors in birth time (15–30 minutes) can shift chart calculations meaningfully. Tempora is not responsible for inaccurate analysis resulting from incorrect birth data.
Kaal is an AI system. Its outputs are generated by a language model interpreting astronomical data. Like all AI, it can make errors, misinterpret patterns, or produce outputs that do not align with your experience. You are responsible for how you choose to use or act on any information Kaal provides.
Chat with Kaal operates on a credit-based system. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per response. Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law.
Readings (PDF briefings) are delivered within 48 hours of confirmed payment. If Tempora is unable to deliver a reading due to a technical failure on our part, a full refund or replacement will be offered.
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Razorpay and subject to their terms of service.
Kaal Chat and Kaal Match generate written responses using an AI language model (Anthropic's Claude API) applied to your computed chart data. Your reading is a machine-generated narrative built from planetary positions, dasha periods and structural rules coded in our engine. It is not written by a human astrologer in real time.
What that means for you. The chart computation itself is deterministic and derives from Swiss Ephemeris with the True Pushya Paksha ayanamsa. The prose that surrounds it is generated fresh each turn by the AI and can vary in phrasing and emphasis across runs on the same chart.
Automated decision-making disclosure. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you are entitled to know when a decision affecting you is being made by automated means. Kaal Chat and Kaal Match responses are automated. They are intended for personal reflection and do not constitute a professional opinion in medical, legal, financial, or psychological domains (see Section 2). If a reading strikes you as inaccurate, unclear, or objectionable, you may request a human review by emailing our Grievance Officer. We will respond within 30 days.
Zero-retention on the AI side. Anthropic operates under a zero-data-retention policy for our API calls. Your chart data and question are used to generate the reading and are not retained by Anthropic after the API response is returned. See our Privacy Policy for full third-party details.
To generate your chart, Kaal requires your date, time, and place of birth. This data is stored securely in our database and used exclusively to compute your chart and generate responses personalised to your birth positions.
Your birth data and chat history are associated with your email address. We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties, except as required by law or to operate the service (e.g., our hosting infrastructure).

All content on www.tempora.ltd — including research notes, articles, the Kaal interface, and system design — is owned by Tempora Research. Chart outputs generated for you based on your birth data are provided for your personal use. Tempora retains the right to use anonymised, aggregated insights from usage patterns to improve the service.
Tempora Research and its operators shall not be liable for any decisions made or actions taken in reliance on Kaal's outputs. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tempora's liability to you for any claim arising from use of this service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or credit pack giving rise to the claim.
Tempora may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email where possible.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
The service is operated by Casa Polos, a registered firm in India, operating the Tempora brand.
