Tempora Research ("we", "us", "our") operates www.tempora.ltd and the Kaal personal timing service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
We collect the minimum necessary information to deliver our service. We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising. Birth data you provide is used solely to generate your timing briefing and is not shared with third parties.
When you order a Kaal timing briefing, we collect:
When you visit the website, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics beyond standard server logs.
Birth data (date, time, city, country) is used exclusively to:
Your email address is used to deliver your briefing and respond to any follow-up questions. We do not add you to marketing lists without explicit consent.
We may use de-identified, aggregated patterns from your briefing data — timing of dasha events, planetary configurations, prediction accuracy — to refine our research methodology and improve future briefings. Your personally identifiable information (name, email, exact birth details) is never used in identifiable form for research, sold, or shared with third parties for AI training purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@www.tempora.ltd.
Your data is stored in Supabase (European-compliant cloud infrastructure). Generated PDF briefings are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage. Briefings are accessible only via time-limited signed URLs sent to your email.
We apply industry-standard access controls and do not expose personal data through public APIs or interfaces.
If you use Kaal, we hold the most personal data there is: your birth date, time and city, the chart computed from them, your readings and your questions. Here is the whole arrangement in plain language.
What we store. Your email, birth details, computed chart, the readings and chat exchanges generated for you, and purchase records. Product analytics are stored against a one-way hash of your email, never the address itself.
What we never do. We do not sell your data. We do not share your birth details with advertisers. We do not build advertising audiences from chart contents. We do not use your questions to target you with fear.
Deletion, on request. Ask and it is gone: use the delete-my-data flow (or write to shivani@tempora.ltd). We email a confirmation link; one click deletes your birth details, charts, readings and chat history. Purchase records are kept in anonymized form because accounting law requires it, and unused chat credits are forfeited on deletion.
Backups. Encrypted database backups are taken on a schedule and retained briefly for disaster recovery; deleted data ages out of them within eight weeks.
We use the following third-party services to operate:
International transfers. Some of these providers process data outside India (for example Anthropic in the United States, Supabase on EU-region infrastructure). Where data is transferred abroad, it is limited to what each service needs to function, and is governed by that provider's terms and the safeguards described here. Anthropic operates under a zero-data-retention policy for our API calls.
Aside from the third-party services listed above (each used to operate the service), we do not share your personal data with any other party. Your personally identifiable information is never sold or shared with any third party for marketing or AI training purposes.
Date, time, and place of birth may be considered sensitive in some jurisdictions. We treat this data with heightened care:
Kaal timing briefings are prepared for personal reflection and orientation purposes only. They do not constitute medical, financial, legal or professional advice of any kind.
Vedic timing analysis identifies structural tendencies based on astronomical computation. It does not determine outcomes or override personal agency. No guarantees are made regarding accuracy of any forward-looking description.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent. When you submit your birth details and email to generate a reading, you consent to our using that data for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us (see "Your rights" and "Grievance Officer" below); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and may prevent us from delivering an outstanding reading.
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above:
When you request deletion, we erase your personal data except the minimum we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).
Our products are intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect or process the personal data of anyone under 18. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, processing a child's data requires verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian; because we do not serve under-18 users, we do not undertake such processing. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact our Grievance Officer and we will delete it.
