Ardra occupies 6°40' to 20°00' of sidereal Gemini, the 6th of the 27 nakshatras and the only one of Gemini's three that sits entirely inside the sign: Mars-ruled Mrigashira before it arrives from Taurus and Jupiter-ruled Punarvasu after it crosses into Cancer, while Ardra's whole 13°20' arc belongs to the air sign alone. The presiding deity is Rudra (the storm-god, fierce form of Shiva) and the symbol is the teardrop, gem or human head; the Sanskrit name means the moist one or the green one. The honest reading of Ardra across this particular window is that none of the slow bodies touch it. Ardra sits wholly in Gemini, and through 2026 to 2028 the slow transits fall elsewhere: Jupiter is in Cancer from its full entry on 27 May 2026 and then Leo from 19 June 2027, so its benefic light lands on the Cancer and Leo nakshatras and never reaches Gemini. Saturn holds Pisces until 23 May 2027 and then Aries, crossing the Pisces and Aries mansions, again clear of Gemini. The nodes walk the Aquarius-Leo axis until 27 December 2026 and the Capricorn-Cancer axis after it, so neither Rahu nor Ketu enters Gemini in this window either. That leaves only the fast lights as live contacts on Ardra's arc.

The Moon completes the 27-nakshatra circuit in 27.3 days, so it crosses Ardra for roughly one day every lunar month, and the Sun spends about 13.7 days in the arc once a year when it transits late Gemini in June. These are real contacts but weak ones, the routine monthly and annual passes rather than a multi-month slow-planet overlay. For a native whose Moon is in Ardra the more consequential 2026 to 2028 signals come from the mahadasha clock rather than from a transit into the sign.
