The four short sub-periods fill in the seams: Ketu-Ketu (4m 27d) sets the tone at the start, Ketu-Sun (4m 6d) touches 8th-house matters of joint assets and endings, Ketu-Moon (7m 0d) passes the review across the 7th house of partnership and Ketu-Mars (4m 27d) brushes the 4th and 11th, home and gains. The hand-off at the end matters more here than for most risings: Ketu yields to the 20-year Venus mahadasha, and Venus is this chart's yogakaraka. This mahadasha under the 2026 to 2028 sky for Capricorn rising

Does Ketu Mahadasha end careers for Capricorn ascendant natives?

Not as a default reading. For Capricorn risings the 10th house belongs to Venus, the yogakaraka, and Ketu holds no lordship that touches it.
