Saturn enters sidereal Aries on 23 May 2027. For Aquarius moons that reads as the end of a seven and a half year run, and for Taurus moons as the start of one. The ephemeris adds the complication most pages omit: Saturn retrogrades back into Pisces on 4 November 2027 and only settles in Aries on 11 February 2028. The exit happens, un-happens, and happens again, and the dates of all three moves are computed below.
Sade sati is the roughly seven and a half year stretch in which Saturn transits the sign before your moon sign, your moon sign itself, and the sign after it. Every phase boundary is therefore a Saturn ingress, and ingress dates are computable to the hour. The practical reading of the double exit
For an Aquarius moon the honest sentence is: the pressure lifts at the end of May 2027, returns for roughly fourteen weeks over the winter, and lifts for good in February 2028. Anyone told simply that their sade sati ends in May 2027 will misread the winter as the pattern failing. It is not failing. It is the retrograde loop doing what retrograde loops do at every sign boundary, and it was computable years in advance. The same shape applies in mirror to Taurus moons, whose first phase starts, pauses over the same winter, and resumes.
What sade sati is and is not
The tradition treats it as a period of compression and restructuring keyed to the Moon, not a uniform run of misfortune, and the classical texts grade its weight by the strength of Saturn and the Moon in the birth chart. Two people with the same moon sign do not get the same sade sati. Twice. Saturn leaves Pisces on 23 May 2027, returns to Pisces in retrograde from 4 November 2027 to 10 February 2028, and exits finally on 11 February 2028. The February 2028 date is the true end; the May 2027 date is a five month preview.
